The Bürgerlich Freiheitlicher Aufbruch e.V. (BFA) is a German grassroots citizens’ movement, political pressure group and “do-tank”. The members-based initiative was founded in 2022 to help conservatives and freedom-loving people in Germany overcome fragmentation and political isolation. The initial goal was to help build a new right-wing political party in the country, which was achieved in 2023/24. Today, we continue to build targeted education initiatives and we strengthen advocacy campaigns to promote freedom. We construct alliances for joint action, improving the capacity of our movement. The BFA’s basic analysis is that traditional conservative and freedom initiatives have been ruined by a mainstream and risk-averse managerial class, who avoid addressing citizens’ concerns due to their institutional and personal interdependence with the failing political status-quo.
The BFA seeks active members for its formats and campaigns. We also welcome financial donations, which contribute a 100% to our mission. All BFA representatives currently devote their personal time to this initiative and act in a voluntary capacity.
